Dr. Annemarie Renée Paulin-Campbell is head of the School of Spirituality of the Jesuit Institute-South Africa where she has trained and supervised spiritual directors ecumenically for fifteen years.
Susan Rakoczy, IHM, PhD, is professor of Christian spirituality and systematic theology at St. Joseph’s Theological Institute and the School of Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. She has led courses in spiritual direction for many years and has a special research focus on spiritual direction and HIV/AIDS. Rakoczy has written widely in the areas of cross-cultural spiritual direction, spirituality and social justice, feminist theology, and eco-feminism, and is writing a book on feminist interpretations of discernment.
