Mary Ann Clifford Rodriguez, RSM, trained as a spiritual director between 1992 and 1993 at Mercy Center Burlingame. Clifford is a spiritual director, retreat director, and a supervisor and trainer of spiritual directors in both English and Spanish. Clifford was in ministry with the Aymara people in the Altiplano of Peru for sixteen years during the 1980s and 1990s. Since 2000, Clifford has been a staff member of Mercy Center Burlingame and, since 2011, continues as adjunct staff. As part of the outreach of Mercy Center Burlingame, Clifford has worked with spiritual direction training in Ecuador, Guatemala, Argentina, Guyana, and Trinidad. In 2011, Clifford returned to ministry in Latin American and the Caribbean and is presently ministering in Guyana.

Barbara Winston, DMin, lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, and is the coordinator of spiritual directors and associate director of spirituality for Diaconate Formation in the Diocese of Monterey, California, USA. She also serves on the diocesan pastoral planning and visioning councils.
