Rabbi Malka Drucker is founding rabbi of HaMakom: The Place for Passionate and Progressive Judaism, a community begun eleven years ago as a laboratory to balance tradition with creative religious experience. Drucker is an ALEPH Sageing mentor and has taught Sageing at Rancho La Puerta, the International Women’s Forum, and in the Santa Fe community. She is a writer of twenty-two books, including the PEN award-winning book, “White Fire: A Portrait of Women Spiritual Leaders in America”, and “Rescuers: Portraits of Moral Courage in the Holocaust”.
Tim Scorer DD, is an experiential educator, spiritual director, consultant, and writer living in Vancouver, Canada. He has been developing a practice of Biblical teaching through contemporary midrash for the past ten years. Applying bibliodrama methodology to Wisdom literature is new, inspired by the theme of this year’s SDI conference. Scorer's commitment to spiritual direction runs deep, including involvement in the development of the Pacific Jubilee Program, supervision of spiritual directors in BC and Alberta, and leadership of key elements in the PJP program of discernment and development of practice.
